They are highly absorbent, lightweight, and dry quickly. Woven in Turkey with 100% cotton threads, the edges are hand knotted. The peshtemal is then pre-washed for a soft and silky touch.

Adinkra symbols originate in West Africa and have been used in African visual arts since the 12th century.
